LAUNCH, EVENTS, etc

There are a number of launch and speaking events for The Crooked Medium’s Guide to Murder. I am also at a number of conventions, where I’m on panels or speaking or something.

Sept 6th, 7-9pm The official launch is at the All Good Bookshop, Turnpike Lane London – also the supplier of signed and dedicated copies by post. It’s a cooperative bookshop founded by the community, hosts the ancient and venerated writing group which predated it – the only bookshop proper serving the less well-off half of Haringey. It’s also an incubator of the book. RSVP link will be on their website.

Sept 7th, 3.30pm, a slightly calmer event at Winchmore Hill Friends Meeting House. With a tea and cake vibe, I’m speaking to the satirical title, “Should Quakers write Bad People?” Which is really a defence of fun and imaginative books. Lots of Quakers I know are into spec-fic. The book has a Quaker couple in the background. RSVP, via the contact form.

Super Relaxed Fantasy Club, (has happened)

Edgelit, Derby 20th Sept*

BristolCon, 26-27 October *

WorldFantasyCon Brighton, * 30-2nd October

The plan is to have hard copies but better to buy direct from me beforehand to avoid disappointment.

I am often at the All Good Bookshop writing group, which is fortnightly at the said bookshop in Turnpike Lane London. We’re on Meetup and Facebook. I read the first third of Our Child of the Stars to them.

I sometimes go to Super-Relaxed Fantasy Club which is an author reading and social in a pub in London. They’re also on Facebook. Rarely enough check in with me if you want to see me!
